1. Scope of Application
For all orders placed through our online shop, the following Terms of Service apply. Our online shop is aimed exclusively at consumers. A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly neither commercial nor self-employed.

2. Contracting Party, Conclusion of Contract, Correction Options
The purchase contract is concluded with Smart Things For Smart People.
By placing products in the online shop, we make a binding offer to conclude a contract for these items. You can initially place our products in the shopping cart without obligation and correct your entries at any time before submitting your binding order by using the correction tools provided during the order process. The contract is concluded when you accept the offer for the goods contained in the shopping cart by clicking the order button. Immediately after sending the order, you will receive a confirmation by e-mail.

3. Contract Language, Contract Text Storage
The languages available for the conclusion of the contract are German and English.
We save the text of the contract and send you the order data and our Terms of Service by e-mail. You can view the text of the contract in our customer login area if you have created an account.

4. Delivery Conditions
We ship the products to the delivery address specified in the order process. We only deliver by shipping. Self-collection of the products is not available. Please note that we do not deliver to packing stations (Packstations).

6. Retention of Title
The goods remain our property until full payment has been made.

7. Transport Damage
If goods are delivered with obvious transport damage, please report such errors to the delivery carrier as soon as possible and contact us immediately. Failure to make a complaint or contact us has no consequences for your statutory claims and their enforcement, in particular your warranty rights. However, doing so helps us to assert our own claims against the carrier or the transport insurance.

8. Statutory Warranty and Guarantees
The statutory liability for defects applies. Your statutory warranty rights remain completely unaffected.
Information on any additional guarantees that may apply and their exact conditions can be found directly with the product and on special information pages in the online shop.

9. Liability
For claims due to damages caused by us, our legal representatives, or vicarious agents, we are always liable without limitation:
In case of injury to life, body, or health,
In case of intentional or grossly negligent breach of duty,
In the case of guarantee promises, if expressly agreed, or
As far as the scope of the Product Liability Act is opened.

In the event of a breach of essential contractual obligations, the fulfillment of which makes the proper execution of the contract possible in the first place and on the observance of which the contractual partner may regularly rely (cardinal obligations), due to slight negligence by us, our legal representatives, or vicarious agents, the liability is limited in amount to the damage foreseeable at the time of the conclusion of the contract, the occurrence of which must typically be expected. Otherwise, claims for damages are excluded.

10. Consumer Dispute Resolution
We are neither willing nor obliged to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.

Information obligations under Section 18(4) of the German Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act (ElektroG) and the Packaging Act (VerpackG)

As an online retailer of electronic products, we take our environmental responsibilities seriously. Below you will find important information regarding the disposal of waste electrical and electronic equipment and packaging in Germany.

1. Disposal of Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE)
The symbol of the crossed-out wheeled bin means that you are legally required to dispose of this device separately from unsorted municipal waste. Disposal via household waste or the yellow bin is strictly prohibited.

Responsibility for deleting personal data
Please note that, as the end user, you are responsible for deleting all personal data from any waste devices before disposal, for example on projectors, smart glasses, or storage devices.

Batteries and lamps
Waste batteries and accumulators that are not enclosed in the waste device, as well as lamps that can be removed from the device without destruction, must be separated from the device before being handed over to a collection point.

Return options for waste devices
Owners of waste devices may return them free of charge through the collection and take-back systems established by public waste disposal authorities, such as municipal recycling centers, so that proper recycling can be ensured.

Our registration with the stiftung elektro-altgeräte register is:
WEEE Reg. No. DE [applied for / to be added after official registration]

2. Packaging disposal information (LUCID)
In accordance with the German Packaging Act, we are required to register as a producer in the LUCID packaging register of the Central Packaging Register Authority.

Our registration number is:
LUCID Reg. No. DE [applied for / to be added after official registration]

We have also joined a nationwide dual system for the proper processing of our packaging waste. Sales and shipping packaging delivered to end consumers, such as cardboard boxes and plastic films, can be disposed of through municipal collection systems, such as paper and yellow-bin recycling systems.
